Hey guys. My name is Dustin and I first had this crazy “pool service” idea for self-employment back during the economic downturn in 2009. I was working in the factories and refineries of the Baton Rouge area when my hours suddenly got cut from a nationwide “moratorium” on oil and gas drilling. I found myself at the mercy of politics for the second time since I’d graduated college in 2002. This time I said no more. My first daughter had just been born so I knew if i was going to make a change, I needed to do it while she was still young.

So in 2010, I moved my family back to my hometown of Minden, La. and started my first pool service company on a wing and a prayer. We decided to name it Pool Fool. As time progressed, Pool Fool evolved into Cleaver Aquatics, now the most trusted name in pool service.
